When Prakash Raj and Radha Mohan approached her for the movie, she initially politely told them that since she was planning to get married, she may not be able to act in the film.

But the doughty producer and the committed director insisted on her listening to the story and the character she was to play.

As the duo narrated it, Jyothika stoically listened and at the end of it, with tears welled in her beautiful eyes, she simply said ‘yes’ to the project.

It was such a moving story that Jyothika couldn’t say no.
